At Arete Academy, our students learn in collaborative studios of multi-age learners. Our self-directed approach challenges students with individualized goal setting and inspires them through real-world projects and experiences.

Using our online guidance system, our students set daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals in reading, writing, math, fitness, and passion projects. Parents are invited in the first week of each month to see the goals your child has set and make recommendations.

Our studios are run mostly by our students, providing authentic opportunities to take responsibility, make decisions, and solve real problems, preparing them to be effective leaders and collaborators in the future.

Our students agree to participate fully and responsibly in our community, place high value on their education, and use our studios for their intended purposes.
